We have a new buddy: the AX2
The renewed AX3 cable box has a little extra: the AX2. It is so compact that you can easily install it invisible or in small spaces. The box is dust and spray-proof, making it ideal for outdoors. And thanks to the practical design, you can install it quickly.
The outdoor junction box
The AX2 and the new AX3 have been developed in such a way that you can use them perfectly outside. The junction boxes are in fact splash-proof (IP55). In addition to the standard AX3 of 75 x75 x 37 mm, the AX2 is really small: only 89 x 42 x 37 mm. This makes it easy to mount it in small spaces, such as in a wall gutter or in the box of a roller shutter, awning or screen. And it may be compact, but the Somfy wireless receivers fit in perfectly. You can also use it in garden lighting poles, to connect lamps and hide the receivers of the remote control. The size also ensures that you can attach it almost invisibly to the beam of a parasol, for patio heating. And because both boxes are now available in both gray and trendy black, they no longer stand out at all.
Easy to connect
The AX2 and AX3 have a long service life and are easy to recycle. But what's even nicer: they are quick and easy to use. The various sealing membrane entrances on the side and in the bottom of the box, so that you can easily process flexible and solid cables. While assembling or connecting the box, simply attach the lid to one of the four corners so as not to damage or lose it. And thanks to the two mounting eyes on the outside, you can screw on the box or quickly mount it using tyraps.
