Sustainability at the KAISER GROUP
Taking responsibility
For the KAISER GROUP, sustainability is not just a modern buzzword, but a responsibility that has been put into practice for many years within our family-run business. Our actions are based on a marked awareness of our social, societal and environmental responsibilities.
Social responsibility
We have strong ties to the regions where our sites are located and offer secure jobs with long-term prospects. As locally rooted companies, we prioritise stability and do not relocate our sites in pursuit of lower wages or more favourable working conditions. Our aim is to ensure economic success through innovation and the high performance of our staff – always in close partnership with our customers.
Inclusion and training
For many years, we have been creating jobs for people with disabilities – both within our factories and in specialised facilities. In doing so, we go far beyond legal requirements and focus on integration in line with individual abilities. Training young people is a central part of our corporate philosophy. Year after year, we offer qualified and varied apprenticeships to nurture the next generation of talent and safeguard our expertise for the future.
Sustainable production and short supply chains
Our corporate DNA is characterised by locally successful companies offering location-specific products and solutions. These are manufactured locally and supplied primarily to national fitters. We also prioritise local partnerships with our strategic suppliers in order to minimise transport distances and the associated consumption of resources. We pursue this same objective in the distribution of our finished products.
Environmentally friendly technologies
We have been using environmentally friendly technologies for many years and are constantly optimising our use of resources. Even though sustainable investments can often only be realised in the medium term, we focus on long-term and reliable planning in order to continuously improve our environmental performance.
Transparency and responsibility
Our companies in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium naturally comply with all regulatory reporting requirements regarding sustainability. Furthermore, we prioritise direct dialogue with our customers in order to understand their individual needs and jointly develop sustainable solutions. In doing so, we draw on recognised certifications and portals to ensure transparency and comparability.
Our aim
We demonstrate our commitment through our actions: through continuous improvement, open communication and clear, reliable statements. As a group of companies, we are committed to sound business practices whilst making a positive contribution to society and the environment – both today and in the future.
Quality assurance across all areas
For over 120 years, KAISER has been synonymous with product and service quality.
