Sometimes a small adjustment makes a world of difference. You will notice this immediately with our AK1-M25 IP65. This junction box has an integrated M25 screw thread. This is great for you, because it allows you to install thicker cables and cables in higher fire classes easily and quickly. It can be that refreshingly simple!

You probably already know the AK1-M20 IP65. The integrated M20 thread makes it a practical, easy-to-install solution. But in the new CPR, the fire classification standards of cables and electrical lines have been raised. Depending on the fire class, the sheaths around the conductors and the cable vary greatly in thickness. In general, the higher the requirements for the cable, the thicker and stiffer it is. And the more difficult it is to process. That is why we have now developed a junction box in which you can easily install cables of higher fire classes: the AK1-M25 IP65.

Large clamping range
Thanks to the integrated M25 thread, it is now possible to process almost all common installation cables in the familiar AK1 box. The large clamping range of the three supplied M25 AGRO Syntec glands is suitable for all 4- and 5-core cables, cables with 4 mm2 core cross-section, almost all cables in fire classes Dca to B2ca and for armored cables. And lock nuts? They are now superfluous!
Easy to install
Installation is easy with the AK1-M25 IP65 junction box. You simply remove the ports by twisting the supplied cable glands in the box. The large clamping range of those cable glands (Ø 10 to 17 mm) ensures that you can also handle thicker cables and the compact box still gives you plenty of welding space. The symmetrical lid can be placed in all positions. The clicking sound the lid makes when you attach it also gives you audible assurance that you have attached the lid properly. A solid, fast and watertight solution. So you are - together with the AK1-M20 IP65 - ready for any situation.
