The innovative opening technology makes inserting electrical installation conduits quick and easy. The entry can be opened without tools using just two fingers and can then accommodate conduits with a diameter of 20 or 25 mm. When an entry is opened by mistake, it can be resealed to remain concrete-tight. The integrated conduit retention system prevents conduits from slipping out of the housing while the concrete is being poured. A depth stop also prevents conduits from having to be shortened inside the housing afterwards. This saves time, reduces the risk of remedial work and keeps the housing securely sealed during the concrete pour.

HaloX® for solid ceilings

Fast and reliable retrofitting of luminaires, LED lighting and loudspeakers in concrete

HaloX® for solid ceilings makes it easy to install luminaires, LED lighting and loudspeakers retrospectively in existing precast ceilings and solid concrete slabs. It is ideal when an additional lighting point, loudspeaker or other recessed ceiling component is required in a completed concrete structure. The HaloX® 100 installation system has been developed for fast and safe installation in concrete. Robust click connections support efficient installation on site while minimising the impact on the concrete structure. A core-drilled opening of Ø 150–160 mm is sufficient to install the housing. With installation openings of up to Ø 100 mm, the system provides considerable freedom when selecting luminaires, LED spotlights and loudspeakers. Where additional installation depth is required, the available space can be increased using the appropriate extension rings. HaloX® is designed to withstand demanding site conditions and provide reliable long-term performance in solid concrete structures.

ThermoX® for heat-generating light sources

Safe installation space for halogen and LED lighting in insulated ceilings

With the ThermoX® system, halogen lamps and adjustable recessed LED luminaires can be installed safely in insulated ceiling constructions. The installation housing creates a protected space around the luminaire and prevents direct contact with insulation, vapour-control membranes and ceiling boards. Surrounding construction materials are therefore protected against high operating temperatures, while heat from the light source can be dissipated in a controlled manner. The heat-resistant construction withstands temperatures of up to 220 °C and supports safe and durable operation of the lighting installation.

HaloX® for voice alarm loudspeakers

Spacious installation housing for voice alarm systems
For installers working on voice alarm systems and fire-safety projects, providing sufficient installation space can be challenging. The ATTEMA HaloX® 250 offers a practical solution thanks to its large diameter and generous internal volume. It has the largest installation diameter within the HaloX® range and is therefore particularly suitable for larger ceiling components such as loudspeakers, sensors and specialist luminaires. When combined with the optional tunnel version, additional space is created for cabling, transformers and other installation components.

Suitable for many voice alarm loudspeakers

Many EN 54-24-certified ceiling loudspeakers for voice alarm systems require a cut-out of approximately 150 to 220 mm. The HaloX® 250 generally provides sufficient space for these applications. Loudspeakers with an integrated 100 V transformer or a greater installation depth can often also be accommodated. Where additional space is required behind the loudspeaker, the HaloX® 250 can be combined with a tunnel. This version provides significantly more space for connections and components and simplifies installation in concrete ceilings.
