Inntel Hotels Marina Beach

During the installation of the Inntel Hotels The Hague Marina Beach on the Northern Harbor Head in Scheveningen, installer HOMIJ Technical Installations opted for plug-in, wire- and battery-free installation. This advanced concept, supported by Attema cable boxes, Isolectra/Wieland cabling systems and battery-free Honeywell-PEHA switching material, offers seamless implementation with minimal failure costs.


For the new Inntel hotel in Scheveningen, Attema is supplying hundreds of cable boxes as part of a large-scale development transforming the view of the Scheveningen harbour. The successful collaboration between HOMIJ and Attema, which has previously been used in complex healthcare projects and the hotel industry, has proven itself once again. "HOMIJ carefully specified the hotel's requirements, after which a tried-and-tested collaboration process started," Toledo explains. "In this project, for example, we used our own Cable Mate system, an innovation consisting of a minimum of interchangeable elements. This allows the system to be installed effortlessly, with minimal components required."

  • The Cable Mate boxes are already equipped with Wieland connectors and Honeywell-PEHA Easyclickpro receivers, ready to use. These packages, including the Easyclickpro switches, are supplied per hotel room by Technische Unie. Prior to installation, they are thoroughly tested and guaranteed to be halogen-free and fire-safe. “With reusable materials we minimize waste on site and significantly reduce failure costs,” Toledo emphasizes. “The pre-assembled packages have been thoroughly tested before implementation,” explains Tobias Toledo from Attema. "This results in smooth installation, with significantly reduced failure costs."

    The wireless and battery-free switching system, integrated into the Attema Cable-Mate boxes, offers a revolutionary solution. “The Easyclickpro switches are wireless and battery-free, which was crucial for the selection,” explains Lammert Hooiveld of Honeywell-PEHA. “Everything is pre-assembled, including the connection of transmitters and receivers, making installation hassle-free.” This wireless system can be integrated into any construction, with a range of up to 30 meters from the receiver, depending on environmental conditions.
