Efficient underground distribution of fiber optics
When deploying FttX networks, civil works, cable entry and fiber management must be perfectly aligned. ATTEMA offers complete solutions for underground distribution points, street cabinets and fiber management. By intelligently combining the various components, a clear network is created that can be installed quickly and later easily expanded or maintained.

The ATTEMA distribution closure forms a protected underground distribution point within FttX networks. The housing protects cables, ducts, fibers and splice connections against moisture, dirt and other environmental influences. In combination with a suitable Fiber Management Plate, it creates a complete solution for distributing incoming fiber optic cables to individual home connections. The modular structure makes it possible to adapt the configuration to the desired network architecture and number of connections. The distribution closure is suitable for a wide range of underground applications and supports a clear separation between cable entry, strain relief and fiber management.

After installation, a fiber optic network must remain accessible, controllable and expandable. ATTEMA offers various solutions for managing, connecting, repairing and reconfiguring fiber optic cables and fibers. The products support both planned maintenance and rapid repairs and expansions.
Hybrid Fiber Management Plate
Fiber Management Plates, also known as FMPs, ensure that fiber optics are clearly organised, spliced and protected inside distribution closures. The plates support the correct bend radius and provide fixed positions for splice protectors, splitters and fiber reserves. This enables installers to process fibers clearly and keeps the network easily accessible during later work. Different configurations and capacities are available depending on the application. This allows the FMP to be matched to the network design, cable type and number of connections to be realised.
MDUs for high-rise buildings
Fiber optic solutions for apartment complexes and high-rise buildings
In Multi-Dwelling Units, fiber optics must be clearly distributed from the building entry point to floors and individual residential units. ATTEMA offers a complete range for façade mounting, riser points, building distribution and residential connections. Building Transfer Point
The Building Transfer Point, or BTP, forms the distribution point between the incoming fiber optic network and the individual floors or residential units. Depending on the configuration, multiple connections can be accommodated. The system can be designed as a splice-patch or splice-splice distributor. Provider and customer areas can be accessed, closed and sealed separately. Integrated strain relief, clear labelling fields and a well-organised internal layout support reliable installation and easy management.

F25 LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) trunking system
The F25 LSZH trunking system has been specially developed for fire-safe routing and concealment of fiber optic and data cables. LSZH stands for Low Smoke Zero Halogen. In the event of fire, the material does not spread flames, produces little smoke and contains no halogens. This limits the development of toxic and corrosive smoke gases. The system is particularly suitable for escape routes, public spaces and buildings with high occupancy, such as hospitals, hotels, airports and apartment complexes. The secured cover is more difficult to remove by hand and helps protect the cabling against unauthorised access and damage.

Fiber Termination Unit
The Fiber Termination Unit, or FTU, forms the endpoint of the fiber optic connection at the user’s premises. In the compact housing, incoming fibers are safely terminated, protected and made available for connection to active network equipment. The FTU supports a neat installation and protects sensitive fibers and connections against damage. Depending on the version, various connection and mounting options are available.
