    AGRO multi-cable glands in various designs.
    Multi-cable glands are inserted wherever a large number of cables need to be routed through at a required packing density. Compared with many individual cable glands, multi-cable glands save space and users benefit from an efficient and easily accessible installation situation – even in confined spaces.

    For over 70 years, AGRO has been developing and manufacturing high-quality cable glands in accordance with EN 62444. This expertise is also reflected in the designs of AGRO’s wide range of multi-cable glands. The specialised construction, utilising tried-and-tested sealing units and impact-resistant metal housings, results in extremely robust and reliable cable entry systems.

    These have been designed for use in the most adverse operating conditions and are fit for use in conditions that involve water, dust, vibrations and extreme temperatures. The fields of application range from infrastructure projects (public works such as tunnel construction, IT data centres and telecommunications networks), through control cabinet and plant engineering, vehicle, marine, offshore and energy technology, to the manufacturing industry.

  • Progress® EMC powerCONNECT.

    Direct connection technology for high leakage currents in the smallest of spaces.
    The Progress® EMC powerCONNECT, featuring the innovative, advanced crimp sleeve, guarantees secure 360° shield contacting in the smallest of spaces. The direct transition from the braid to the base of the cable gland ensures an astonishingly low contact resistance.

    1 Low contact resistance The direct contact between the ‘braid and cable gland cone’ results in extremely low contact resistance.

    2 Maximum leakage currents: Sustained high contact pressure, achieved through the fixed crimp sleeve and the tightening of the intermediate piece to the stop, enables maximum leakage currents, which are limited only by the shield cross-section.

    3     Special intermediate piece Tightening the intermediate piece fully ensures that the shielding braid is clamped professionally without placing mechanical stress on the live conductors.

    4 High flexibility High sealing performance combined with great flexibility. The two-part sealing inserts allow for an enormous clamping range whilst maintaining protection class IP 68 / IP 69K.

    5 Wide range of connection threadsProgress® EMC powerCONNECT cable glands are available with short and long connection threads. Metric or Pg threads allow installation in threaded holes or with an EMC lock nut.

    Syntec® brass cable glands featuring innovative lamellar technology. The movable hinged lamellae allow for a wide clamping and sealing range, ensuring flexible and safe everyday use.

    • Lamella insert made from PA 6 in accordance with UL94 V2
    • With short or long connection thread
    • TPE sealing ring with good chemical resistance
    • Standard or reduced-size sealing rings
    • Strain relief and anti-rotation protection
    • IP 68 protection rating
    • Tested to EN 50262 (metric types)

    Syntec® plastic cable glandsfeaturing innovative lamellar technology. The movable hinged lamellae allow for a wide clamping and sealing range, ensuring flexible and safe everyday use. A unique feature is the pre-tightening of the pressure nut, which also greatly facilitates overhead installations.

    • Made from high-quality PA 6 in accordance with UL94 V2
    • With short or long connection thread
    • TPE or CR sealing ring with good chemical resistance
    • Black version RAL 9005, particularly weather-resistant
    • Standard or reduced-size sealing rings
    • Strain relief and anti-rotation protection
    • Sealing at the housing via an injection-moulded sealing section; protection class IP 68
    • Tested to EN 50262 (metric types)
