Electrical installations in B¹ on-site mixed concrete

Boxes, housing and systems.

The on-site mixed concrete construction method is primarily used for large areas and components. Fresh concrete is poured into prepared formwork containing reinforcement and installation components, and the formwork is removed once the concrete has set. Boxes are simply nailed into wooden formwork, whilst in steel formwork they are fixed using expanding dowels, magnets or hot glue.

The KAISER system is universally applicable to all concreting methods and types of formwork. It enables precise planning and smooth fitting. Installation is carried out using empty conduits that form a closed system. All connections can be made toolless or using KAISER system tools, and guarantee stability and watertightness, ensuring that no foreign bodies or concrete can penetrate the system.

Products for wall installation

  • B¹ one-gang boxes and B¹ one-gang junction boxes

    for on-site mixed concrete.
B¹, the on-site mixed concrete electrical installation programme. In addition to its tried-and-tested system features, such as the shallow front part, sturdy fixing domes and the support element attachment with a spring-loaded box base, the B¹ programme features innovative conduit entries, sturdy slots for the B¹ Prefix® system wings, and separators that can be broken out at a later stage to connect devices in combination set-ups.

    • Slot for B¹ Prefix® system wing set
    • Sturdy combinability via a complete box body at the standardised distance of 71 mm
    • Innovative conduit entries for rapid fitting on site
    • Signal bristle for easy identification during installations on the opposite side to the formwork
    • Installation of pre-wired installation accessories in multiple combinations using a separator that can be broken out at a later stage
  • B¹ electronics boxes and B¹ two-gang junction boxes

    for on-site mixed concrete.
The B¹ Electronics Box and B¹ Two-Gang Junction Box are particularly suitable for installations in vertical in-situ concrete formwork. The B¹ Electronics Box offers a generous space for fitting devices and additional installation space for, for example, switch actuators or other components for smart home applications. The accompanying separator allows for the standardised installation of bus and operating voltages within a single box. B¹ two-gang junction boxes enable the installation of block and pre-wired devices and provide space for terminating electric cables for multimedia connections.
    • Plenty of space for devices and electric cables
    • Separator for standardised accommodation of two voltage types
    • Shallow front part for quick and easy nailing
    • Innovative conduit entries for quick fitting on site
    • Slot for B¹ Prefix® system wing set
    • Spring travel ensures a secure hold in vertical formwork
  • Prefix® concrete construction boxes for fixing to reinforcement

to ensure a precise and secure fit.
In addition to tried-and-tested product features such as the lateral installation clamps for fixing to the reinforcement, the mounting brackets for pre-fixing the components and the marked wave profile for a precise and secure fit, the Prefix® concrete construction boxes also feature innovative conduit entries, entry options in the rear of the box and removable separators for connecting devices in combination set-ups.

    • Quick and easy installation against opposing formwork without the need for support elements or counter bearings
    • Spacers for the side formwork ensure that the concrete flows completely around the components and enable exposed concrete installations in through-and-edge areas
    • Suitable for concrete covers with thicknesses of 20–60 mm
    • Innovative conduit entries (Ø 25 / 32 mm and Ø 20 / 25 mm) for rapid on-site fitting
    • Entry options up to Ø 25 mm in the rear base of the box
    • Easy assembly by hand
    • Sturdy signal bristles and vivid colouring for easy identification within the concrete surface
    • Ample space for installation and fitting
    • Convenient installation of pre-wired installation accessories in multiple combinations thanks to a separator that can be broken out at a later stage
  • B¹ Prefix® system sash

    for on-site mixed concrete.
The B¹ Prefix® system panels allow for quick and easy fixing to the reinforcement, thereby ensuring optimal installation on the formwork facing side, as well as with free-standing reinforcement and in sliding or travelling formwork systems. All wall applications in the new B¹ programme feature slots for the catch mechanism that allows two Prefix® system wings to be locked together, enabling them to be easily and quickly adapted for installation on the formwork facing side.

    • Quick and easy installation against the opposing formwork without the need for support elements or counter bearings
    • Pre-fixing using Prefix® installation technology, leaving both hands free for fixing with tie wires
    • Marked wave profile and additional fixing options for secure fixing using Rödeldraht
    • Has combinability when used with wall and ceiling transitions
    • For exposed concrete installations on opposing formwork
    • Suitable for concrete covers with thicknesses of 20–60 mm

Wall and ceiling transitions

  • End and transition bushes, 30° wall and ceiling transition 30°, 90° ceiling transition 30°

End and transition bushes, as well as 30° wall and ceiling transition bends, to ensure a continuously functioning empty conduit system at transition points. The particularly compact design of the end and transition bushes allows conduits to be routed even between closely spaced reinforcement bars without the need for time-consuming modification. The B¹ Prefix® system brackets enable quick and easy fixing to the reinforcement, thus ensuring optimal installation on the formwork facing side, as well as with free-standing reinforcement and in sliding or travelling formwork systems.

Ceiling products

  • B¹ Ceiling junction box

    for on-site mixed concrete.
The B¹ ceiling boxes simplify installation on the ceiling formwork. The innovative conduit entries allow conduits to be easily inserted into several ceiling boxes arranged in a straight line, without the need to cut them during installation. Thanks to the raised conduit entries, additional cut-outs in the reinforcement bars are no longer necessary, and the installation of empty conduits on the ceiling is speeded up.

    • Suitable for all types of formwork
    • Shallow front part enables the smooth insertion of reinforcement bars into the ceiling formwork
    • Innovative conduit entries for rapid fitting on site
    • Larger installation space
    • Slot for a light hook in accordance with DIN EN 60670
    • The tried-and-tested KAISER colour coding system ensures quick verification of the installation
  • HaloX® installation housing

Free space for planning, installation and ambience.
The HaloX® housing system creates free space for new lighting and sound systems in concrete ceilings and walls. With its modular design, shape-retaining properties and high loadability, HaloX® provides a secure installation compartment. Round, square or universal front parts allow the installation of luminaires and loudspeakers for installation diameters of up to 250 mm.
Optional extension rings provide space for greater installation depths. The toolless opening mechanism, featuring a combination entry point for conduits with diameters of 20 / 25 mm, can be opened quickly and is easy to close again even if the components have been inserted incorrectly. It provides secure conduit retention with a depth stop.
