The new PROTECT® solid timber one-gang junction box has been specially developed to meet the requirements of installation in solid timber elements. Thanks to its fixing with ribs and innovative wire entries, it ensures optimal and standardised installation within a solid timber element of visible-grade quality, without the need for additional milling or extra effort. The innovative wire entries, through their arrangement and design, allow for flexible cable routing and thus compensate for any installation tolerances that arise when performing cable routing within the solid timber element. Furthermore, the PROTECT® solid timber one-gang junction box maintains the fire resistance duration of the solid timber element from F30-B to F120-B without the need for additional encapsulation.
