Product Information

B15 PROTECT® cavity wall boxes for shipbuilding walls

The new B15 PROTECT® cavity wall boxes have been specially developed for partition walls in categories B0 and B15 and react immediately in the event of a fire. The integrated fire-retardant coating intumesces when exposed to heat and reliably seals the installation opening. The cavity wall boxes provide fire and smoke protection for the respective fire protection zone and maintain the B15 function of the fire protection wall. There is no need for costly encasings, for example made of metal. In addition, the boxes are also suitable for thin planking thicknesses from 0.2 mm and have toolless cable entries that are designed for all common cable sizes used in shipbuilding and enable quick and safe installation.

Certified and fast fitting
