Based on a close collaboration with contractors, users, clients and suppliers and the careful monitoring of market requirements, Attema developed a universal Fiber Termination Unit (FTU). The FTU forms the link between the passive optic ¬fiber network and the Network Termination Unit (NTU), the device that provides access to the home network of the end user. The current FTU's are often only able to connect to an NTU of the same manufacturer. The Attema Universal FTU will fit NTU's from all manufacturers which use a universal interface. With this Attema provides a freedom of choice in the hands of the end users and reduces operational costs for network operators.
