One-gang junction box ECON® Styro55

One-gang junction box ECON® Styro55 is the solution for retrofitting various built-in appliances in external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) with EPS/XPS or comparable insulating materials that have already been plastered. The special swivelling cutting edges ensure secure mechanical fastening in the insulation material. Switches, sockets, intercom systems and much more can be permanently attached easily, quickly, securely and without heat bridges.
  • Air-tight and heat bridge-free electrical installation in accordance with DIN 18015-5 in ETICS
  • Suitable for EPS/XPS (and comparable insulation materials) from a bulk density of 15kg/m³
  • Secure mechanical anchoring in the ETICS thanks to 4 swivelling cutting edges
  • Special cutter (Art. No. 1088-07) prevents damage to the cable
  • Sealing lip prevents moisture penetration
  • Making of combinations is possible

Heat bridge calculation

A heat bridge analysis produced by the Passivhaus Institut Dr. Feist, Darmstadt, showed that heat conductivity is only changed to a negligible extent and consequently it is demonstrated that no heat bridges result. The loss coefficient "× WB" is 0.005044 W/K.
