The new installation housing 3D concrete printing for cavity wall boxes for integration into the production process of the 3D concrete printing method is a product innovation and enables professional and standard-compliant electrical installation in this area of application for the first time.

Processing instructions

During 3D printing, cut-outs for doors, windows and electrical sockets are made exactly according to the design plans. The installation housings are then inserted into these recesses during the 3D concrete printing process.

In order to realise the standardised centre distance of 71 mm for combinations, the support surface must be cut off at the rear markings.

The deep-set concrete brackets at the top and bottom provide a permanently secure hold in the wall. A holder for a small optional spirit level with two vials is used for precise and fast alignment during the production process.

The 68 mm diameter installation opening of the frame facilitates the subsequent installation of KAISER cavity wall boxes thanks to edge countersinking and alignment markings. Lateral connection contours are provided for multiple combinations, which also ensure the standard-compliant centre-to-centre distance of 71 mm.

Due to the curing process of the concrete layers, only horizontal combinations are possible, as deeper layers have already cured and can no longer be processed.
